Padel World Press .- Ángel Garrido, Counselor of the Presidency and Justice and spokesman for the regional government, said in a press conference after the Governing Council that Canal de Isabel II will take over the management of the football and paddle schools of the Third Deposit, with the sole purpose of the 1.400 students enrolled, among them near 900 children and young people, can continue with their classes.
Although the execution order of the Superior Court of Justice of Madrid (TSJM), which required the cessation of activities, and the bankruptcy situation of the concessionaire of the center motivated the suspension of the same, from the Community of Madrid, Canal de Madrid Isabel II and the City Council of Madrid committed themselves with the representatives of the residents of the Chamberí District as well as with the parents of the students of the schools to look for a solution that would allow continuity to sports activities.
And what will it consist of? As Ángel Garrido highlighted, the public company has exceptionally set up a company that will manage the football and paddle tennis facilities of the Third Depot Sports and Leisure Center and which will be joined by the teachers who already taught these activities.
On the other hand, it should be noted that the City of Madrid has regularized the facilities compatible with the General Urban Plan of Madrid. As for the future uses of the Golf Practice Range area, the Regional Government and Canal de Isabel II will agree with the residents of the district and with other institutions on the activities that this space will host.
