Paddle High: "World Padel Tour has communicated to the PPA (association of male players), with Alejandro Galán as president, that even those who do not have a contract beyond 2023 will be able to register in all WPT competitions during the season".

This great news, which was not originally included in the plans of World Padel Tour, has been well received by the PPA (Men's Players Association) with Ale Galán as president. A piece of news that will soften the spirits between the two organizations and, who knows, they might even put an end to the war in which they are immersed.

What was happening between the World Padel Tour and the PPA?

A part of the professional players of the circuit World Padel Tour They have a signed contract with some conditions, but some were ending just this 2023, although that was not the problem since they could participate throughout the season.

The big problem was in those players who did not have that contract, and who, according to World Padel Tour they could not participate in the circuit without prior signature. This was the reason for a complaint by the PPA and the IPPA who showed their total disagreement "This decision is in keeping with the most basic principles of good faith in sport, and those who from this position of prevalence encourage, promote and put these behaviors into practice deserve nothing but the greatest of moral and sports ethics reproaches, since They are aware that many of the players who will not be able to participate, if they do not abide by their conditions, are minors".

Fortunately, World Padel Tour He has given his arm to twist by reconsidering the decision and that is a giant step for the good development of the professional circuit during the 2023 season.
