After completing a weekend full of great performances, Javi and Gonzalo made it to their first final of the World Paddle Tour Circuit, in which they beat Maty Marina-Álex Ruiz, Lisbon Challenger champions and same rivals who had already won in the final of the mentioned Championship of Absolute Spain.
Ruiz and Rubio gave a lesson in 'knowing how to be' on the court, they were very solid at all times and managed to overcome a set against to win the 3-6, 6-4 and 6-4 victory.
At his 29 years, and wielding the WingPádel Air Force Carbon Gold, the Andalusian hopes to continue giving much to talk about this season.
