Between the days 30 and 31 of August, the capital of Portugal welcomed the dispute of a vibrant duel, in which the great figures of the neighboring country measured the main standards of the padel of Extremadura.

Padel World Press .- On the tracks of the i6 Clube Padel Cascais, a complex that surprised all the participants due to the high quality of its facilities, the first edition of a test that promises to repeat in the next years was disputed.

It should be noted that this complex is owned by a Granadino, called Arturo, and that, although it currently has 6 tracks, 11 will be very soon, since the works for the expansion are imminent ... Without a doubt, it is the better confirmation of the growing boom that this sport is having in Portuguese lands.

Organized by the FPP, led by Ricardo Oliveira, the players were delighted by the treatment received at all times and, therefore, from the Extremadura Federation they made sure that next year, when they will be the hosts, they expect to be at the same height.

On a sporting level, it should be noted that the match was agreed so that the Men's National Team that obtained eight points (out of the fifteen possible) would be the winner while, in the case of the women, they should obtain at least 5 points on 9.

The competition started on Saturday morning. The girls from Extremadura overcame their rivals by 3-0 while the boys lost by 3-2. In the afternoon, already more rested and adapted, Extremadura players won by 4-1 and the players were imposed by 2-1.

In those moments, the members of the men's team had 6 points while the girls had already secured the title.

On Sunday morning the last round of the three scheduled ... The Extremadura won by 3-2 in the men's match and 2-1 in the women ... That left the final score in 9-6 in favor of Extremadura in boys and 7-2 in girls.

The pupils of Chapu Moreno and José A. García collected their prizes, in an act that was closed by the aforementioned Ricardo Oliveira, FPP President and José L. Domínguez, Secretary General of. Fexpadel.

After the farewells and hugs, all the contestants agreed to launch the same message: "We'll see each other at 2015."
