Padel World Press - One of one. The perfect summary to define the debut as a couple of Ale Galán and Pablo Lima that, in this Valencia Open, have managed to emerge victorious from the ninth meeting of the World Padel Tour.
A Pair of Galán and Lima who came to surprise in the semifinals after having eliminated Paquito Navarro and Juan Lebrón and that they were not going to let their dream of winning the champions escape, despite what Allemandi and Silingo opposed.
A final in which the first set was an ode to the paddle. Silingo and Allemandi captured a tangled, defensive match on the twentieth and tenth where the balloon and the wall exit dominated the match and that's where they managed to catch Galán and Mieres. The tie-break, then, did the rest.
Already in the second sleeve and with the same script raised, everything was defined by details. Silingo and Allemandi had break ball to take out to win, but did not know how to define when they got closer. There, even if they did not know it then, a large part of the final escaped.
Because Galán and Lima were alive when they had less air left. As in the semifinals. The breath of air was such that, as in the semifinals, they used it as a revulsive to launch for victory. And it would work.
They closed the second set and in the third set they put their opponents on the ropes until they, ecstatic with the effort, finally gave up. By a final score of 6-7, 7-5 and 6-3 Galán and Lima signed the Valencia Open title in his dreamed debut as a couple.
