The prestigious Spanish brand, dedicated exclusively to the manufacture of products for paddle tennis, received a very special visit on March 09 at its factory in Azuqueca de Henares (Guadalajara)… With a clear Italian accent.
Padel World Press .- It is no secret that padel is increasingly consolidated in transalpine lands, where the succession of tournaments, clinics and exhibitions is becoming very frequent. The interest that this sport is generating does not stop growing and, with the aim of continuing to train and learn, Fabrizio Rostagno, CEO of Manzasport-Italy and Distributor of StarVie in Italy, visited the 'factory' of the firm in the company of Alessandro and Stefano Pupillo, partner number 1 of the Italian Federation of Tennis and Paddle Rankings (and StarVie players), as well as Gian Marco Toccini (Nº4) and Lorenzo Verginelli (Nº6).
During their visit, all of them were able to see first-hand how paddle blades are made and the craft work done there. Right after, there was a meeting with Matías Díaz and Matías Marina, two of the professional players of Team StarVie, with whom they exchanged impressions on the situation of the world of paddle and the growth that this discipline is experiencing in Italy.
In the end, as they all expected, an exhibition match was played in the facilities of the StarVie Club of Azuqueca de Henares, in which Matías Díaz-Maty Marina became partners to measure up to the 1 numbers of the Italian paddle. It was a very relaxed duel, in which the good, ambience, professionalism and shared passion for this sport reigned.
The day culminated with a meal among the attendees in which, how could it be otherwise, the paddle was again the center of the conversation. Very satisfied with the experience, the participants were eager to repeat ... And everything indicates that the next meeting will be in Italy!
