Between the days 13 and 14 of February, in the slopes of the Club Duet Sports Las Rozas, there will be the dispute of something more than a simple tournament that, as a colophon, will serve to celebrate in a very original way the 'Valentine's Day' .
Padel World Press .- The beginning of a very special test is approaching in all senses and that will soon attract the attention of fans of this wonderful sport ... And why do we say that? Very simple: the participants will receive a complete Welcome Pack, they will be able to witness an exhibition match with the presence of World Paddle Tour players, they will have the opportunity to participate in a clinic / showdown with WPT players, they will compete in a test that will have a judge referee, markers and catering service ... In addition to opting for all the gifts that will be distributed in the final big draw.
What better plan for the Valentine's weekend than doing it enjoying your passion for paddle in a different and high level tournament?
As we have been able to know, the appointment will have Male and Female Frames, of Categories A (level 4 to 5,5 *) and B (levels 2,5 to 3,5 *). There will be a maximum of 16 pairs in each of them, for a total of 64 pairs.
As for the competition format, the usual Round Robin system will be followed, with 4 groups of 4 pairs (which will guarantee a minimum of 3 matches). The two first classified of each group will go to the Main Draw for direct elimination, with quarter rounds, semifinals and final.
It should be noted that all matches will be played at the best of 3 sets, with tie break in all of them, and, with respect to the Referee, indicate that he will be present throughout the tournament. The schedules may be modified due to the large number of clashes and a delay of 5 minutes could motivate WO, always at the discretion of the referee judge.
Tournament Program
- Tuesday, February 09: The draw of groups and the composition of the Tables will be made.
- Saturday, February 13: From 13:30 p.m. to 21:15 p.m., all matches of the Round Robin will be played in all modalities and categories.
- Sunday, February 14: The activities of this day will follow the order that we detail below.
a) From 10: 00 to 13: 00 hours: Quarter finals, in all modalities and categories.
b) Pro Exhibition Match: by Pablo Lijó, Álvaro Cepero, Martín Sánchez Piñeiro and David García Campos, renowned players of the World Padel Tour Circuit
There will also be the presence of María Blázquez Mota and Mariana Cordero, 75 couple of the WPT Women's Ranking, who will rally with the participating players.
c) From 13: 30 to 15: 00 hours: Semifinals in all modalities and categories.
d) From 17: 00 to 18: 30 hours: Finals in all modalities and categories.
e) 19: 15 hours: Awards ceremony.
The registration fee will be 20 euros per person and neither professional players nor those who are, or have been, among the first 100 Rankings of the FMP and the FEP will be able to register.
In this amount, a complete Welcome Pack consisting of a backpack, power-bank (portable charger) and a pole will be included. In turn, it will give the right to participate in the raffle, among others, for dinners at Asador de Aranda Las Rozas and Missushi Pozuelo as well as Champagne Bottles to give it a touch of glamor.
For all attendees there will be catering with hot broth, water, soft drinks, hot wine and hot and cold tapas (not included in the registration).
