Last weekend, between September 08 and 10, the beautiful French city became the venue for two important international paddle tennis competitions, which we talked about in previous articles ... Do you want to know what happened at the XI Open de France de Padel (Mixed Category) and in the I European Club Cup? This last event was born with the vocation of being the 'Champions League' of the paddle world.

Padel World Press .-  A total of eight major clubs (Toulouse Padel Club, Tennis Squash Padel Club du Mas, Stade Toulousain, Vals Sports Axarquia, Royal Oreé, The Beach, Tennis Club Eze, Padel First) of six European nations (France, Spain, Belgium, Holland , Monaco and Switzerland) took part in the two competitions.

Both events were played simultaneously in just three days, which implied a high concentration of matches and a great demand for the teams, which had to multiply their efforts ... Especially, those that reached the final stages in both events, such as They were the Belgian Royal Oreé, Dutch Beach, Toulouse Padel Club and Vals Sports Axarquía (Málaga).

The level was very high and there were several very intense matches, which were decided in the 'super tie-break' (10 points). It was, for example, the case of the men's final of the XNUMXst European Club Cup that faced the Toulouse Padel Club, with Kevin Tournemire-Kevin Tap, with the Royal Oreé (Jeremy Leroy-Jeremy Gala). The triumph was for the latter, with an extraordinary performance by Jeremy Gala that demanded all the forces he had after having played the mixed semifinal of Padel's Open de France that same morning with Bárbara Laurent, a player who after doing A maximum effort needed medical assistance due to fatigue and she could not play the women's final of the Iª European Cup together with her partner Helena Wyckaert, which gave 3 points to the rival and, consequently, the title of Champions of the I European Cup. of Clubs.

Extraordinary figures for an exceptional event.
