Padel World Press .- Although many fans do not know, this brand was the first brand to develop a ball for paddle, the mythical one Dunlop Paddle. As stated in the history of this wonderful sport, at the beginning of the 90 years the firm began to collaborate with the Spanish Paddle Federation and, at that time, no specific ball for the discipline existed on the market.

Always innovative and in constant search for solutions, this company opted to respond to this need and, with the advantage of having its own factory (with its own team of R&D technicians specialized in the development of balls for sports racket), did not hesitate to accept and take on the challenge.

For its development, the members of its team studied in depth the characteristics of the paddle to be able to define the ideal technical specifications. Both the dimensions and the materials of the track were taken into account, as well as the main strokes and the specific characteristics of this sport. Workers and meticulous, countless tests were carried out in the Dunlop Group factory before preparing a series of prototypes with different properties of core material, internal pressure, rebound, weight and felt composition ... All offering exclusive features for extensive testing in track with the technicians of the Spanish Federation of Paddle, professional players and some of the most outstanding coaches.

The result: the creation of the Dunlop Pádel, the original ball of this sport. It should be noted that it had a core of natural rubber compound for maximum consistency in flight and rebound, combined with a felt woven of high quality wool that brought a high level of feeling and comfort in the hit. Ideal for use in competition and for regular club players, the FEP chose it as the Official Ball for all tournaments and events on its calendar.

Already in the 2000 year, coinciding with the celebration of the Paddle World Championships in Toulouse, the brand launched the new Dunlop Fort Paddle, presented in a metal boat with a felt woven of first quality wool, with a high visibility treatment that It was combined with a specific reinforced core for maximum consistency and durability. In this way, the brand expanded its range of specific balls of paddle in order to always offer the highest quality.

In 2012, after surpassing the historical number of 12 millions of padel balls sold in Spain, the firm innovated again by developing a third model: the Dunlop Team Padel. With a specific core and a resistant synthetic felt, it offers an optimal combination of playability and durability, ideal for training and schools, with an unbeatable quality-price ratio and, in turn, with the Dunlop balls quality guarantee.

In 2015, the prestigious company has taken a new step to follow and has launched Dunlop Pro Pádel, a high performance ball developed specifically for the competition paddle. With a core of high elasticity and a synthetic felt of the highest quality, it offers a spectacular combination of playability, more alive and with greater rebound than the original Dunlop Paddle. Its exceptional strength and durability guarantee that the ball maintains its optimal properties during several matches.

Once again, the firm once again demonstrates its firm commitment to this wonderful sport and this is confirmed by the expansion of its range of padel balls to a total of four models, which ensures that any player can find a ball that complies in terms of performance and track performance, in addition to offering different price options.

This is Dunlop: A brand of all life and, at the same time, a modern brand in constant evolution.
