It is not the first time that we see him inside a paddle court. He has already won several titles in the Circuit of the Valencian Federation and has even played some Pre-Previews of the World Paddle Tour Tour. The companions of the Information Diary They tell us how his victory was at the 20 Open held on the BluPádel tracks.

Padel World Press .- Although we should be more accustomed, it is true that, as they pointed out Information Diary, seeing Juan Carlos Ferrero playing a paddle tournament is still a bit strange ... And we still remember everything that made us vibrate with a racket in his hands.

The one from Onteniente is one of the many former tennis players who have started playing this wonderful sport but, in his particular case, seeing him in action offers us many small details that still make us remember that style for which he became one of the 'strongest rivals' on the clay courts of the ATP Circuit.

Sunday February 28, 11:30 a.m. Juan Carlos Ferrero and Borja Francés measured their forces with the experienced Manu García Barceló-Alfonso Viuda in the final of Blupadel's Open20. The four players stood in the fight for the title after having overcome some very tough semifinals, decided in both cases in three sets, against Sergio Lillo-Nacho González and Josete Rico-Sergio Icardo, respectively.

The match began slowly, with some good shots but with both couples trying to gain a foothold on the court ... At that rate it reached the sixth game of the first set, in which Ferrero-Francés got a break that, with no margin for rest , was answered with a counterbreak in favor of Manu and Alfonso.

Undoubtedly, that was the inflection point of the game since, from the eighth game, Juan Carlos Ferrero decided to bring out that spectacular two-handed backhand that we saw so often during his time as a professional tennis player ... From the bottom of the field, with both feet well placed and a beautiful performance, crossed a ball with an impossible angle, which made Manu fly ... Point for a couple that grew and closed that first sleeve with a very soft tray of their own ' Ferri ', with which he managed to leave his rivals stuck.

Already in the second set, immersed in this winning inertia, they again broke the serve of their opponents in the early stages. Juan Carlos, very sure with his backhand, began to deploy a paddle of beautiful invoice while Borja followed the trail of his partner and was encouraged to try his jump shot, with the x3 ball took several times ...

Final victory for a couple that showed that this year can give much to talk about in the Federated Valencian Paddle ...

And is that the 'Mosquito' wants to keep biting, but now with a shovel in their hands!
