The great golfer prepared for the Open Championship dispute ... Seeing paddle !! Whenever he had the opportunity, and for three days, the 'Child' did not hesitate to be present in the Pavilion of the City of Castellón Pavilion, where he could see in action the best players in the world.

Padel World Press .- It is no secret that the famous Borriol golfer is a great fan of the sport, who does not hesitate to play whenever the opportunity arises. Some of his most common partners on the track are usually former tennis player Juan Carlos Ferrero or professional player Paula Eyheraguibel.

Originally from a small town very close to Castellón, for many years he has been one of the great standard-bearers of the Valencian Community all over the world thanks to his presence, with only 16 years old, in the Professional Golf Circuit. Although it could be said that his official debut as a 'professional' was at 1.999, he was always a precocious talent and this is demonstrated by the fact that that same season, with only a few months of competition, he was able to qualify for the European Team of the Ryder Cup.

Become one of the top ten World Ten for more than a decade, as well as multiple tournament winner around the world (Europe, United States and Asia), Sergio is a fan of the sport in general. He has a great time with paddle and football, is a follower of Rel Madrid and has even become the President of CF Borriol, where he also acts as a player. In that sense, it should be said that his first match was the 12 of September of 2.010, against Ribarroja CF, and this season shows the number 16 of the team directed by Raúl Tena.

His relationship with padel ...

In an interview with the World Padel Tour teammates, he assured that he usually plays at his club "the Club de Campo del Mediterráneo and, sometimes, I also do it with my friend Jorge Belles at the Castellón Tennis Club". Although he does not usually have a fixed partner: "Yes, I usually play with Juan Carlos Ferrero, Jorge and my brother Víctor."

When talking about his best blow, he was very sincere: "Well, I do not know. I think it depends on the day (laughs). I think I move better to the right. As in any other sport, playing and seeing the best in action is always a pleasure and an incredible experience ... You realize what they are capable of doing and you are not even capable of thinking about it ".

A for all in the second part of the season

Castellón is making another great season. Last month he finished second in The Travelers Cahmpionship of Connecticut, in one fell swoop by Kevin Streelman. In turn, just fifteen days ago, he participated in the BMW International Open in Germany where, after a final almost perfect lap on the grass of the Gut Lärchenhof in Cologne, he was only three strokes away from forcing the jump-off.

Your next challenge will be the Open Championship that is being played at Royal Liverpool ... Good luck and lots of paddle tennis !!
