"We only have this week the Master of Valencia and then, the great date of December: the Estrella Damm Masters Finals. It will be the finale to the 2015 season, which will be marked as the best in the history of the Padel Professional Circuit for many reasons but, mainly, because it has meant the opening of new 'markets' for this sport. The Masters in Monte Carlo and Dubai have been a giant step for the paddle, something that the true protagonists of this story have endorsed ... The players.
World Pádel Tour continues advancing, step by step, to take the professional paddle to every corner of the planet. That was the objective since its creation and, in these three years, it has achieved a significant increase in many aspects.
It is clear that Spain is still the epicenter of this sport, where more than two thirds of the Circuit is played, but the chosen scenarios are getting better every day. The clearest example we have had in the last tournament, the Keler Euskadi Open, with that spectacular assembly in the Bullring of Illumbe, today known as Donostia Arena 2016.
The love for this sport continues to rise. The numbers of spectators in each one of the tests prove it and for that reason, facing the next season, World Pádel Tour seeks to excel in terms of assembly and stages.
And since we are talking about 2016, there are several novelties that are being implemented by the organization and that will soon be of public knowledge.
The international commitment remains a firm purpose and new venues are being studied, because there are many requests received from different countries to have a Circuit tournament.
A greater presence in the media and networks
This growth was also accompanied by a greater impact on the media and social networks.
The retransmission by VideoStreaming has made a qualitative and quantitative leap. The quality of the images, the repetition of the plays from different angles or the live interviews have meant a very important advance compared to what was offered in the past.
To date, World Padel Tour has issued more than 400 hours of live paddle, figures that will increase with these last two tournaments. A clear example of the quality of the retransmission is the fact that the autonomic broadcasted broadcasts of the games of the final rounds.
In addition, the creation of the Canal World Pádel Tour on Youtube has had very good acceptance among followers, where we have already exceeded the 32.000 subscribers.
Every day there are more also those who follow us through social networks. In Instagram we have exceeded the 20.000 and adds to the constant growth we have on Twitter and Facebook.
The media have also increased their space for professional padel. Marca, the leading sports newspaper in Spain, has broadcast all the tournaments through its website and has dedicated a weekly page in its national newspaper for the dissemination of the circuit.
But in addition, the most prestigious media in each of the Communities where World Padel Tour has been present this year, have also allocated several pages and minutes to talk about paddle.
In short, the 2015 season closes with a more than positive balance in all areas, which is a motivation to continue betting on this sport. Of course, all this would not be possible without the support of the brands, Estrella Damm, Adeslas, Volvo, Philips, among many others who have believed in this product.
