Padel World Press .- The men's final of the Santander Open faced the great favorites, Juan Lebrón - Alejandro Galán; against couple 10, Javi Rico and Momo González… Those who wanted to achieve a historic milestone… Never before has a pair with that ranking been proclaimed champion.
Javi and Momo began betting on the fierce game and the speed of the Valencian as well as the power and definition of Momo that led them to their first final as a couple ... But on the other side was the couple that best combines all these virtues and many more. Total security in their service and bombardment of the rival would be the recipe that the No. 1 applied to bring the set to 4-1 in 25 minutes of play. In little more, they sentenced the sleeve with a 6-3 that brought them closer to their second title.
Lebrón and Galán's exit to the track in the second quarter was just as precise and forceful, so it didn't take long to put a 2-0 in their favor. In the third game, however, they conceded the first 3 break balls to their rivals but managed to overcome that 15-40 and leave Momo and Javi unable to break serve. Losing that opportunity was almost the last bit of resistance from a couple that played a great role throughout the tournament but ended up succumbing to the quality of Lebrón and Galán (6-3 and 6-2).
The Men's Circuit does not stop ... And it is that, from June 05 to 13, the Victoria Marbella Master Beers will be played.
