At that time, I played other sports, such as football or tennis, but I opted for paddle because I liked it the most.
What started as a fun, like a hobby, soon became the way he chose to make a living. Fully adapted to his new life, he feels more and more comfortable in every way: «In Spain we are very well. Also, the level of this sport has grown a lot here. It is becoming very professional. From a very young age they are getting used to having a physical trainer and a psychologist, like in tennis.
At present, he occupies the 14 position of the WPT Ranking but he is very clear about his goal: «My goal is to be the 1 number in the world and match my idol, Fernando Belasteguín».
