Padel World Press - The paddle is in luck. The Spanish player Rafa Méndez has announced that he returns to the competition after his mandatory temporary retirement.
And it is that a few months ago one of the saddest news in the world of paddle tennis became official. Rafa Méndez reported that he had to temporarily leave the professional competition and he did after having suffered a thrombus in the leg.
A news that forced him to be absent from the start of the competition and that it prevented him from being in the Marbella Master but, now, four months later, it seems to have been reversed to the delight of all lovers of the sport of shoveling.
What a great news! 🙌@_rafamendez_ He returns to the competition and we will see him fight at the Estrella Damn Open !! 😀

Because Rafa will be on the lap of World Padel Tour. The Jerez player has issued a statement on social networks assuring that he has already been discharged and that he can finally re-enter a court.
"Today I received the medical report in which my return to the competition for the Estrella Damm Open to be held behind closed doors from June 28 to July 5 at the Madrid Arena is made", ensures the start of the note published in the profile of Kombat Padel, the player's sponsoring brand.
Therefore the Spanish will be in two weeks at the start of the competition. Great news for paddle tennis and the World Padel Tour at a time when they are more necessary than ever.
