The Spanish Federation of Paddle has launched an initiative with the sole objective of generating opportunities for players in development and offer them greater promotion. That is why different activities such as concentrations, follow-ups, competitions and scholarships and / or grants will be organized.
Padel World Press .- As we have been able to know, the first activity will take place between the 27, 28 and 29 days in December in Madrid. During those days there will be a concentration of players from the 'Impulse Program'.
From the FEP all the Autonomous Federations are invited to send their potential candidates according to the profiles of the 'Impulse Program'. It will be the national coach who will define the six male pairs and the six female pairs that will participate in the concentration.
The competition format will be composed of two groups of three couples. The first match will be played in the afternoon / evening of Sunday 27 in December while on Monday the Group Stage will be completed. On Tuesday, December 29, the first classifieds will face each other, as will the second and third. In this way, all positions will be defined.
The criteria will be based on the following points:
- Sub'26, preferably Sub'23.
- No penalties, valid license.
- Spanish selectable.
- Background of national teams or preselections.
- Restriction to cadets according to regulations.
- Positions in the single ranking.
- Geographical distribution.
- In the judgment of the National Coach.
Mixed couples (different FFAA) can be proposed.
The Spanish Federation will cover the travel, lodging and meals expenses of the 24 players.
For the prizes, it should be noted that there will be an allocation of 3.000 € that will be distributed as follows:
1º Position: 700 € to the male and female winners (1.400 €).
Since 2º: 350 € for the Men and Women runners-up (700 €).
3º Position: 200 € for Masculine and Feminine couples (400 €).
Since 4º: 150 € for Male and Female couples (300 €).
Since 5º: 100 € for Male and Female couples (200 €).
Since 6º: without prizes
