Padel World Press .- Throughout the current campaign, the pupils of Jorge Martinez have been present, at least, in the semifinals of all the tournaments and, with this, it is not surprising that they occupy the highest position in the world ranking. Firm candidates to conquer the Masters Tournament, are ready to close the season in style.
The Aragonese, two competitive women where they have, set the pace this year in the Women's Circuit ... For many, the natural symmetry that shine off the track becomes a squad and square game as soon as they step on the court. Their movements seem to be part of a well-composed symphony from the first note. The hours of training are translated into an aggressive, hard padel, without possible answer.
They started the campaign in a big way. Without the problems of injuries that have weighed them in the last stage, Mapi and Majo slipped into the final at the Estrella Damm Barcelona Open, where they were overtaken by Alejandra Salazar and Icíar Montes. Far from breaking down, they conspired to improve the details that had cost them the defeat in the Ciudad Condal and, with firm step, added three titles consecutively.
In Badajoz Open, the sisters Sánchez Alayeto took their particular sports rematch by overcoming Alejandra and Icíar in the final duel. Then came the Malaga and Marbella tournaments, where they won the match against Patty Llaguno and Eli Amatriain, another of the most outstanding duos of this 2014.
Those were his last finals. Since they passed through the Costa del Sol, they did not return to the decisive clash, although they were in all the semifinals, in which they exhibited a claw beyond the discomfort that they have dragged in the final stretch of the season.
