For a few seasons, more and more brands that appear in the world of paddle although, of all, only a few could boast of having the label of 'traditional'. This is the case of Prince, a firm that step by step is recovering the prestige lost in the last campaigns and that has just launched its new collection of shovels, which the StreetPádel team is talking about.

Padel World Press .- There are very few fans who know that Prince's story is intimately linked to that of racket sports. The company was founded in 1970 (just one year after the appearance of padel) in New Jersey, by the hand of Robert H. McClure, a native of Princeton (hence its name).

In its origins, Prince was a company dedicated to the construction of tennis ball-throwing machines but, shortly after, began to manufacture rackets and expanded its range of items in other sports such as badminton and squash. So we get to 1986, the year in which the first Prince paddle shovels of history.

In constant evolution

At that time, our sport lived its 'golden years' in Argentina. Knowing the importance of attracting attention with their first collection, Prince's managers did not hesitate to create the first 'oversize' shovel on the market.

In the following years, the firm maintained that innovative spirit and incorporated the first technological advance in a shovel, when creating the grip injected in polyurethane. That was the first technological difference that marked a fundamental change since, due to its composition, it had a low frequency of resonance and allowed to reduce the vibrations at each impact of the ball with the old wooden 'pallets'.

Taking advantage of his experience and knowledge in tennis, Prince Pádel incorporated a blade with graphite at the beginning of the 90, the same material that was already used in rackets. This advance was called 'Composite Technology'. In this way, the modern era for Prince began, maintaining its projection and philosophy of constant innovation to meet the needs of a player who has remained very demanding to this day.

Your 2017 Collection

Just a few days ago, the brand presented its latest collection in shovels. True to its tradition of incorporating great advances, this time the first shovel with Antivibration Handle System cushioning technology was added to its product range. We are referring to the Prince Premier Propulsion AHS.

Power model made of high quality carbon and Super Soft EVA rubber, noted for its comfort and maneuverability. Undoubtedly, it could be said that it is one of the most polyvalent 'weapons' of the moment.

Without leaving the High Range we also find the ESF Tour Propulsion (used by Javier Escalante) and the Warrior Propulsion ESF. Both diamond shaped, are intended for the aggressive player who likes to hit the ball hard.

Knowing that padel is a discipline that has a great acceptance within the female audience, there are also options for women, such as the outstanding Premier Propulsion ESF SQ Lady, with an elegant and flirty design in fuchsia and white tones.

Finally, there is no lack of models for the smallest of the house. The Prince Junior blades are led by the Prince Twister R Light, for children, and the Prince Princess R Light, for girls.

Three decades later, Prince keeps his tradition and philosophy intact. All with the aim of always looking for improvement in their products so that players can enjoy the paddle at any level, with the best quality and guarantee.
