During the dispute of the XXXIIº Championship of Absolute Spain, our companion Daniel Gamarra had the opportunity to speak with the great Madrid player. In addition to telling the sensations he had had both in the tournament and in these first months of the season, he also told us about his new project: Padel Trotters.
Padel World Press .- Together with Ernesto Moreno, he forms a young couple who can give much to talk about during this campaign. Step by step, both continue to consolidate as a duo and, in that adaptation, the fact that Ernesto has decided to change his native Malaga for Madrid to train daily with his partner.
In the Championship of Spain, played from the 09 to the 15 of May in the facilities of the La Moraleja Paddle Club, they reached the quarterfinal round, where they were overtaken by Maty Marina-Álex Ruiz, the future runners-up (6- 3 and 6-4).

How have the sensations been during the tournament?
They have been rare. We went from less to more. We have not been able to deploy our best game due to the conditions of the tracks: 4 wall and soft fence. This makes the padel equal a lot.
Are you fulfilling the sporting goals that you proposed at the beginning of the season?
It is still early to take stock but in these first tournaments the sensations were positive. We believe that we are playing at a high level. On the objectives, time will tell.
How did the idea of Padel Trotters come about?
The idea arose in the Dubai Master of 2015. We thought it could be a good idea, so Paquito and I decided to start this project.
What surprises do you have prepared with the Padel Trotters?
I can not say much for now ... But I will tell you that the first exhibition will be in Marbella, the next 05 day in August.
How is your new shovel responding this season?
I'm very happy with the shovel Adipower Attack. It is a model with which I feel very comfortable when handling the ball. It has good qualities that enhance one of my best shots: the smash.
