It will be one of the banners of the Spanish team that will try to conquer the title in the XIIIº World Championship by National Teams. Our colleague Daniel Gamarra wanted to talk to the member of the Mystica Team, to know how he faces his call for an appointment to be played from 14 to 20 in November in Lisbon.

Padel World Press .- It was one of the 8 chosen by Jon García-Ariño to defend our country in one of the most prestigious events in the world of paddle tennis. At his 27 years, the Sevillian is preparing to live what will be his fourth Absolute World Championship, having been present at the appointments of 2008, 2010 and 2014.

Current number 4 of the WPT Ranking, and first Spanish player of the classification, knows that it will be one of the main strengths of a team full of talent, which will once again have in Argentina its great rival in the fight for the win.

Very proud to have the opportunity to represent the national team again, Paquito is very clear that both he and his teammates will give it their all on the slopes… Don't miss this interview.

What does it mean for you to be among the chosen ones for the selection?

It is a great pride and a great responsibility… It means being in the place that everyone wants to be. The truth is that wearing this shirt is something that weighs a lot.

What do you think of the final team?

In my opinion, I would say that I think it is the strongest team that has ever been. On this occasion, with the inclusion of Juan Martín Díaz, he has improved a lot. In turn, Juan Lebrón and Chiqui Cepero will bring a lot of freshness and new blood to the set. It is good that these young players join the group quickly so they get used to it and begin to configure the selection of the future.

What are your dreams for this World Cup in Lisbon?

The dream is to win this World Cup. The last time, in Palma de Mallorca, we were runners-up but I think that this year we can make things very difficult for Argentina.

What message would you send to the fans?

I would just like to ask you to trust your team, since they are the ones who unite us… We can win or lose but what is clear is that we will leave everything on the track.
