Between the days 29 of September and 01 of October, in the facilities of the Club Parque Deportivo Puerta de Hierro, three days of paddle tennis for women were held on the occasion of the 'European Week of Sport'. This activity was promoted by the Higher Council of Sports, within the program 'Pádel En Femenino. 

Padel World Press .- As they pointed out from the Spanish Federation of Paddle, the initiative was aimed at all those fans who are taking their first steps in this wonderful sport but do not yet have a federal license.

The forecasts were far exceeded and that was that there was a total 79 players who enjoyed four hours of 'fun and training'. Among the scheduled activities, paddle lessons adapted to the levels of each group were carried out. In them were treated background hits, attack hits, how to play as a team, etc.

There was no shortage of physical activities before and after the game, stretching, shadows on the paddle court and return to calm or the usual competitions and prizes as the 'Point and win'.

Interesting presentations

In addition to these activities, the conference attendees and their coaches had the opportunity to chat and get to know each other at breakfast and at the snack offered by the Madrid Federation. They also participated in the colloquium that was held with such interesting topics as the prevention of injuries with the improvement of physical condition; the choice of the right material and the execution of the blows correctly; the beginnings of the paddle and the current affairs of the same emphasizing the internationalization of this sport; or the situation of the padel of veterans and the padel of minors in the Madrilenian Federation and at the national level.

To finish, the assistants were very grateful for the opportunity that the institutions had given them (CSD, FEP and FMP) and for the good work developed by the technical team, Silvia Mayoral, Ruth Mendoza, Nuria Gil, headed by Araceli Montero, historical name within this sport and project director.
