Padel World Press .- The paddle is one of the sports that has grown the most at international level During the last years. His practice, especially among amateur amateurs, is increasingly common in many countries and that translates into a greater number of practitioners which, as it could not be otherwise, ends up causing some of them have the opportunity to participate in the Professional Circuit.

According to a recent article published by World Padel Tour on their website, in 2017 they were a total of 732 players and players who participated in their Circuit, among which there were representatives of 23 countries. It is true that Argentina with 113 players, and above all Spain with 493, are still the main supporters of the world padel. In the Male Circuit there may be a more equitable distribution between these two countries, especially in the upper part of the Ranking, something that does not happen in the Women's Championship, in which Spain makes up the bulk of the players with up to 168 of a total of 203

However, if we move away from these great powers of paddle 2, they are more and more remarkable outbreaks of the expansion of this sport worldwide, given that countries like Portugal, Sweden, Brazil or France A number of representatives begin to contribute to WPT.

It should be noted the growth of these two first, given that both Portugal and Sweden have increased by up to 9 participants this 2017, going from 30 to 39 in the first case, and from 5 to 14 in the second. Andorra, Lithuania, Russia, Cameroon, Switzerland, Austria or Chile are other nations that have World Padel Tour players in their ranks.

Undoubtedly, in the coming years we can only hope that these figures will increase and that more and more countries have a broad representation at the top of world padel ... In this way, one of the challenges of the WPT would become a reality: to make the sport open its borders and create a hobby throughout the world.
