Padel World Press .- 'This is Paddle', the radio space co-produced by Padel World Press and Capital Radio, had as special guests Javier Arenzana and Miguel Matía, the main responsible for the brand Padel Hook, one of the new projects that are called to make noise this year 2018 for its groundbreaking vision, with which they intend to change the rules of the market.

In a relaxed talk, Javier and Miguel explained to us what this adventure consists of, which was sprinkled with dyes of madness and reverie, but with which they pretend mark a tangible trend and forge a new path in the increasingly mature world of paddle tennis.

Hook arose as a result of one of the new initiatives in which Javier Arenzana embarked in recent years, the creation of a factory of its own: PRI.

Former player, founder of successful brands such as Padel Love and collaborator in different projects, such as club management or the introduction in Spain of Adidas Pádel, Javier is one of the most experienced professionals in the market and the creation of a factory was his last challenge to overcome. Once achieved, the foundation of a new brand was a logical consequence, something that was always clear Miguel Matias: "Hook Padel is a little crazy, a dream of Javier. I wanted to get sensational shovels, something different that would combine the new technologies with the old school [...] I really wanted to have a brand and do it with Javier, who has so much experience, it's a dream ".

From the beginning, the idea of ​​Hook Padel was to bet on the quality and efficiency, for which the first step was to carry out an exhaustive planning in which the primordial thing was to adapt to the tastes and the needs of the players.

Currently, the project is in its last launch phase, with the next step of moving manufacturing to Madrid in the coming months and closing agreements with brands for which they offer all their services and technologies in a totally open manner.

Perhaps the most complex mission for Hook Padel is to look for a sufficiently large space in the market and, in that sense, Javier Arenzana considered that it is possible to gain a foothold due to the revolutionary business vision presented by: "Hook is a very special brand, different, born with a philosophy of having the minimum intermediaries possible. This forces you to reinvent yourself but with this we also avoid dangerous tendencies of the current market [...] At the level of distribution we want it to be online almost entirely, limiting our physical presence. That carries a risk, but we control the sale and production. "

The collection with which Hook Padel will land in the market will have a total of 6 models, of which 4 are already developed: those of the 'Multi Carbon' and 'String' ranges. All of them stand out for having own technologies, shining especially the String shovel, which has 4 carbon strings attached to the mold with which the player is helped to control their blows by offering a broader sweet spot.

All these models are intended for amateur players, as Miguel Matía stressed: "They are designed for them and, therefore, our tests have been done at amateur level, to detect that they are manageable models. We want them to be generous shovels, to help the player. " This is one of the objectives that many brands pursue but in which Hook Padel has the advantage of manufacturing directly, which gives them a great adaptability.
