On Saturday, 17 in June, the team of Somos Galos organized in La Pecera Padel Club the 2nd Edition of the Charity Tournament #PadelForDravet, an event in which this wonderful sport showed its more committed and supportive character.
Padel World Press .- It was 16:00 p.m. when the first players arrived at the Madrid club to start collecting their Welcome Packs, which included Aneto Natural broth, Powerade Zero drinks, Reto Dravet shirt and entries for the raffles ... The truth is that there were no It had to heat up the atmosphere a lot, given the outside temperatures, so the first groups went straight to the indoor courts, equipped to play these days.
A total of 70 players of all levels, from those who faced their first game of paddle and all they wanted was to help (and almost certainly will now be hooked on this sport because they had a great time) to those with a fairly high level . In turn, more than 40 people from the audience enjoyed 94 real matchmaking.
A little before the semifinals, and to give the participants a break on such a hot afternoon, a break was made that was used for Félix Lucas with his son Ander, one of the 'Dravet children', to tell what the Syndrome is Dravet and they gave him a check for € 1.650, which later became € 1.950… By far, that was the most emotional moment of the day.
The raffles were also very special: bottles of wine, physiotherapy vouchers, dinners, professional equipment and even hotel nights ... Almost everyone took home a gift thanks to the different collaborations. The 'extra' contribution came as a result of the auction of a Vibor-A Yarara shovel that was received from a last minute donation.
Although it was a 100% solidary tournament, it should be noted that the final winners were:

How could it be otherwise, all attendees enjoyed the socialization of the paddle, for which a dinner was not lacking courtesy of the organization and La Pecera Pádel Club.
