Reference club in Barcelona, how did the idea of starting the Esportiu Laietà Club come about?
In 1922, a group of alumni of the Escolapios wanted to practice a sport that was becoming fashionable in the United States, basketball, and decided to establish the Club Esportiu Laietà. This is why our club is the dean of Spanish basketball. The president and founder was Mr. Ricard Pardiñas i Bonet.
What is the philosophy, what are the fundamental values that are transmitted from the Club Esportiu Laietà?
To promote the multi-sports vocation, prioritizing amateur, training and social sports, always within a very familiar environment. The formative nature of sport, together with its sports side, are the key in which the family spirit grows as a value. We accommodate the entire family unit in the same space.
What assessment could be made of the results obtained since the padel became part of the life of this club almost centennial?
Paddle tennis is a sport that fits in with the values of the Club Esportiu Laietà. A family and social sport that helps us grow day by day. An added value within a sports club.
Surely there are thousands but, if you had to choose, what will be that memory that you will never be able to forget about everything you experienced in the Club Esportiu Laietà?
On a personal level, I would highlight the day that I was asked to lead a new club project as its manager. Working with the current human team filled me with enthusiasm and commitment to make a dream of turning Laietà into a modern, professional club full of vitality come true.
Entering Club Esportiú Laietá is discovering another 'world' ... You could briefly describe what fans who visit you for the first time can find.
We live in a world of great competition. Sport, and especially paddle tennis, is on every corner. That is why we try to differentiate ourselves with a personal and very familiar treatment. Open the door of your house and find yourself with 22.000 square meters of sports area where you can practice all kinds of sports with people related to your needs. An idyllic setting, in the middle of Barcelona, where the results demonstrate the sporting and social quality.

Laietà is a club with a lot of history and has always been associated with the big brands. In that sense, Adeslas is always next to the number 1.
What do you remember, how is the atmosphere that is breathed in your facilities thanks to this competition?
We work to create a sports and social Networking, in which our members and users can enjoy the club and meet new friends. These events help us to promote our social, sporting and family values, at the same time as they help us to know the people who live in the paddle sports market. The medium and long term challenge would be the water zone project, with the indoor pool. With this, the club would be given full service coverage for its members.

First of all thank the CE Laietà is part of their lives. Secondly, and although it sounds like a topic, we will continue to work with the values and motives that made them choose us to be part of their lives.
