And it is that, on this occasion, the IFJ would have accused the president of the Portuguese organization, Ricardo Oliveira, having used unofficial information to successfully organize the EPA European Paddle Championship which took place in parallel to the one carried out by the FIP.
A supposed new setback for institutional relations between both federations that started in 2019 and has its origin in the organization of the European Championships of the same year and in the celebration of the Children's World which he finally ended up doing in Castellón.
A new open wound between the International Paddle Federation and the Portuguese Federation that fuels an increasingly tense federative panorama and that, it seems, distances the federative organisms and institutional relations.
