On December 15, in a Delegated Commission held in Madrid, the top managers of the Spanish Paddle Federation approved a series of modifications regarding the T&C.
Padel World Press .- Then, we leave you with the list of measures that will apply from the 2015 season in the Circuit of Minors. They will be the following:
1) Athletes out of category will count for the calculation of places if they only participate in higher category.
2) The first reassigned place will always go to the TyC; the following will be awarded by order according to the ranking weight of the participants of the territorial qualifying tests.
3) No athlete with a place may participate in any qualifying event (T&C and / or territorial), even if they did so in a higher category. If he did, he would put his place at stake.
4) Only two dates will be allowed in the Calendar for territorial qualifying events (the two immediately preceding each T & C).
5) A rank -and not the exact equality of points- will be considered when talking about athletes of the same ranking in a mixed pair (in the Regulations that rank will be published).
6) The valuation of the Premium TyCs is increased.
7) In addition to the number of participants, the ranking of the athletes in the qualifying events will be weighted to increase their stars.
8) The participation of athletes in the higher category will be valid for the calculation of stars, if they only participate in that category.
In section 18.4 of the Regulations of the FEP, as for the classification for the first TyC Premium of the year 2015, it is established that two places will be awarded according to the initial ranking of the year in each category considering each player individually.
First the athlete with the best ranking will be consulted, if he accepts his position and if so, he will have the right to choose his partner. Then proceed in the same way following the order established by the ranking until both places are completed. In case of a tie to points, the beneficiary will be drawn.
For this reason, the FEP is contacting the first candidates for a position.
