In a weekend marked by rain and wind, over three days in which the inclement weather has not even given a small truce, the young promises of the Spanish paddle have shown their talent in the first round of the Circuito de Minors ADIDAS. Once again, the magnificent facilities of the City of the Racket welcomed the dispute of an impeccable tournament, in which all the contestants showed an amazing level and in which they showed again that, with them, this sport has a bright future for our country.
If the qualifiers were exciting, it should be noted that the finals were full of emotion and epic dyes from start to finish. The hundreds of fans and relatives who came to the tracks to watch the games did not stop applauding promises that, of course, will not take long to become a reality.
In Men's Junior Category, Velázquez Alcarazo-Bravo Santos lifted the title after prevailing in a match very close to Guillo Llenderrozas-Sánchez Borrajo. The champions needed three sets to overcome some rivals who never lost hope of achieving victory and who, with dedication and determination, forced a decisive tie break that was vibrant (3-6, 6-3 and 7-6). In the Women's Competition, the winners were Enjuto Guisado-Alzamendi García, who were also obliged to be fully employed before Díaz Vázquez-Aizpurua Menéndez (7-5, 4-6 and 6-3).
In the Male Cadet Table, the victory corresponded to Romans Roca-Rosa Vadillo, who achieved the victory by WO against Fernández Fernández-Castro Bautista. In the women's event, bad luck took hold of Sabino-Caballero. Only one game had been played, when they had to withdraw due to injury to the first one, which, moreover, was celebrating her fifteenth birthday ... Much courage, Marta. You will see how soon you will have a new opportunity… In such circumstances, the victory went to Rodríguez Quesada and Gonzalves Abenza.
To emphasize that the final victory of Collantes Guijo-Ramillete Segovia in Infantile Masculino was not too complicated. With a solid and determined step, they imposed their rhythm against Gofre Manzanares-Torres Torres (6-1 and 6-3). For its part, and in circumstances very similar to those experienced in Cadet Femenino, the couple Vivancos-Rayo was reduced by an injury when they lost by 4-3 in the first. That left the title of Infantile Feminine in the hands of Delgado Iglesias and Lorente Tortosa.
Regarding the Male Alevin Category, note that Gómez de la Plata-Díaz Gómez were the big winners after overcome without too many complications (6-2 and 6-1) to Rodriguez Mazario-López Gutiérrez. Among the girls, Saiz Vallejo-Martínez Lobo beat Galaz Sánchez-Pozuelo Salamanca (6-4, 4-6 and 6-4) in a very exciting duel.
To finish, in the Benjamín Masculino Painting, the proper names were Coello Manso-Aliaga Cruz. These young champions won Sola Alba-Diaz Carreira in two sets (6-1 and 6-2).
Brilliant point and final for this TyC 1, proof that marked the beginning of the new project that represents the future of the national padel and that, in this 2014, will have the important support of a brand of Adidas prestige as well as the strong commitment of the Spanish Federation of Paddle ...
