After an intense afternoon of competition, the first day of the Main Draw of the Monegasque tournament was completed. The big favorites did not allow the surprise on the Center Court of the Chapiteau de Fontvieille and qualified for a round of knockout, in which the debut of the first four seeds will be produced.

In the first of them, Marcello Jardim-Juan Lebrón took an important step forward in their growth as a couple and beat Chico Gomes-Pablo Lijó for a double 6-4. They already know that in the second round they will meet Miguel Lamperti-Tito Allemandi, who left Javi Limones-Ernesto Moreno on the road (6-1 and 7-5).
For their part, Gaby Reca-Seba Nerone had a somewhat strange game against Gerardo Derito-Cutu Pérez Millán. After scoring the first set by 6-0, in the second they had to save up to one set ball against to be imposed by 7-5.
To put an end to the day, Cristian Gutiérrez-Agustín Gómez Silingo showed once again that they continue to do more in their game as a couple and defeated Pedro Alonso Martínez-Javier Escalante for 6-3 and 6-2.
