Very satisfied by the sensations they are having during their time at the Estrella Damm Zaragoza Open, the members of the 3 number of the world are preparing to face their presence again in a new semifinal. What have they told our colleague Daniel Gamarra?

Padel World Press .- As soon as he finished his quarterfinal encounter, Maxi confessed that he was very happy to play again in Zaragoza, where both will try to qualify for a new final.

As he told Daniel Gamarra: “I am very happy to play with Matías… It is a sure value, I am very happy to be by his side because, as a neighbor, he is unmatched. He has made all the teammates he has played with except me win, hahaha. He is a great player, one of the best on the Circuit ”.

For his part, Mati said: "It's a pride to play again in Zaragoza. It is an important city that deserves an event of these characteristics. From what I have been told, by Saturday there are almost no entries left and that says a lot about the level the padel is taking here ".

Do not miss the rest of the interview made at the foot of the track.

How do you see your semifinal match?

Matias: As Guardiola said, the pressure that they have, I fear nothing, hahaha.

How do you value your game in what we have in the tournament?

Matias: From 1 to 10, we are in 8. We have played with a very good attitude in the quarterfinals, we planned the game very well ... Being a slow court we tried to despair them, but we came out with a very good attitude, we were very solid ... In the second set, Pablo Lijó hit him a little more and he did very well but in the end we were able to neutralize them and close the match.

Any aspect to improve in your game?

Maxi: I think our game can always improve. Mati and I think that there is always room for improvement: we can be sharper at times, we can be even stronger mentally and have more variants of the game, shooting ... In short, we have more versatility to win games better and faster. There is still a lot to work on.

A message for the fans?

Maxi: The 'sharks' are the ones who support me on a daily basis and give me strength to keep playing and do better every day… So a hug to all of you.

Matias: The Warriors have to be here, they come from all points of Spain, with buses and flags hahaha. Hopefully in the semifinals the WPT have 'sold out'.
