He is one of the best connoisseurs of international padel. For his travels and for his daily work, he has a very close perception of how this sport is lived in all corners of the Old Continent. How could it be otherwise, he wanted to express his position after knowing the suspension of the XII World Open Championship for Couples. Your message: a call to unity and decision making.

Padel World Press .- I would like to express in these difficult moments about the most social and fun sport in the world: Paddle. To begin to believe in the internationalization of Paddle is intolerable and in bad taste that the most important competition for many international players, especially outside Spain, is suspended or canceled in these ways.

I am convinced that the International Paddle Federation is doing an impeccable job when it comes to uniting the World Padel, so that this much talked about internationalization is a reality.

I have listened to the players who were supposed to compete from countries like Belgium, Germany, Sweden, the Netherlands and they claim that they do not understand how this can happen with paddle tennis. They do not find a logical explanation for this entire episode, in which once again the growth and internationalization of Paddle is irreparably damaged.

There is a part, and I think for me the most important, that those responsible for not reaching an agreement with the professional players in the participation of the World Championship, have to understand that a German player, Swedish, Belgian, Dutch and others countries, has had to request days of their holidays in their respective jobs to be present with their greatest enthusiasm in a World Cup. All of them put money out of their pocket to participate with the greatest illusion ever imagined in a competition of this caliber.

I would only like that many responsible for this sport, whether players, federations, brands and companies related to the paddle, look, please, beyond their economic interests and that once, together with the International Paddle Federation, aunemos all those synergies for a unified Padel, for a Clean Paddle, for a Paddle with the correct development in all aspects, be sporting or federative ... And, of course, so that once and for all we respect each other; to each other for so much effort and affection that everyone at some point we dedicate to this great sport.

Without more to say, I will continue to dream that Padel will be played all over the world and one day may be an Olympic Sport. I hope in this dream that those responsible for the suspension of this competition awaken from the nightmare that we live today and repair the irreparable damage of this decision.

Greetings to all

Mauricio Muñoz.
