The XIth Edition of the World Junior Championship presents the following four extraordinary situations:

The number of entries to the Official and Non-Official Categories is higher than the 450 pairs, historical record in the FIP World Cups.

We wish to inform the participants and the public opinion of some regulatory details related to the World Championship, which have been agreed between the Organizing Committee, the Chief Referee and the International Paddle Federation.

1.- Regarding the following article of the Technical Regulations

III.4.9. Qualifying or Qualifying Phase.

The Preliminary Phase, held just before the Final Phase, is reserved for players who have the nationality of the host country, who are residents in the host country, as well as all couples from other countries who have not had direct access to it. the Final Phase.

The players qualified or able to participate in the Previous Phase must register with the rest of the participants.

They will have guaranteed access to the Final Phase from a minimum of four (4) pairs up to a maximum corresponding to the available places.

It has been decided that there will be eight (8) pairs of each table of the Classification Phase, regardless of the category and number of entrants, who will enter the Final Phase.

2.- Regarding the following article of the Technical Regulations

III.4.7.3. They pass to the Second Phase: In the case of eight (8) groups or less, the first two classified in each group. In the case of nine (9) groups or more, only the first classified of each group. The couples classified in the first place of the zones one to four, and in that same order will be considered as seeds. All other positions will be decided by lot, which will be carried out by the Referee when the first phase has ended. At the draw, they may attend, if they wish, up to two representatives from each country. It will be avoided that in the first encounter of the second phase the confrontation that occurred in the first one will be repeated.

a) It has been decided that there are two (2) pairs from each group of the First Part of the Final Phase, regardless of the category and number of groups, who will access the Second Part of the Final Phase, which is the Main Draw, to allow a greater number of matches for the majority of the participants.

Sub'14 Male: 12 groups.

Female Sub'14: 9 groups.

Sub'16 Male: 12 groups.

Female Sub'16: 10 groups.

Sub'18 Male: 14 groups.

Female Sub'18: 8 groups.

b) The draw will be made once the first part of the Final Phase (group stage) is finished, at the World Championship venue.

The draws, separated for each category, may be made at the end of the group stage of each category, and not simultaneously, to facilitate the development of the Championship.

3.- Regarding the following article of the Technical Regulations

III.4.7.1. A head of series will be designated for each zone and will be determined according to the FIP Ranking by National Teams of Minors or the Individual FIP Ranking of Minors, as appropriate. If there were more zones than National Teams participating in the last World Cup, a second rotation will begin in the same order, until each zone has its head of series. In any case, the second rotation will be completed with the assignment of the second pair in the group following the order of the seeds. The rest of the pairs that register each country will occupy the area that is assigned according to previous draw, taking into account that if any country participates in a category with two or more pairs will be sought that those of the same nationality are not integrated into it zone.

a) The first two pairs of each group have been positioned at first, following in a rigid manner the order of the Series Heads, since the number of participating Spanish pairs (6 registered with direct access to the Final Phase, plus 8) from the Previous Phase) would still have to have more than two, and in some categories up to three, couples from each country in a group.
