We already said that the day of the round of 16 was vibrant and full of emotion ... And expectations were fulfilled. The fans had a great time with eight spectacular matches, among which was the unexpected victory of Marcello Jardim-Juan Lebrón over Miguel Lamperti-Tito Allemandi.

Padel World Press .- They form one of those pairs in which veteran and youth are mixed, in which experience and illusion combine, in which talent is not lacking ... And in which there is plenty of work and effort. For the first time since they joined their paths, Jardim and Lebrón qualified for the quarterfinal round, showing that they continue to go more as a couple.

In front of an audience completely devoted to a sport that they have just discovered, the best players in the world brought out the best shots of their respective repertoires and, in that way, did not stop to start the applause in the stands.

From the beginning it was very clear that the top favorites were going to have to fight with all their might if they wanted to move forward in the 'Glamor Tournament'. To start, Maxi Grabiel and Ramiro Moyano could not relax for a single second to win against Martin Di Nenno-Franco Stupaczuk. After yielding the first set for 5-7, they were able to redo and register the next two partials for 6-4 and 7-5. Despite their defeat, the Super Pibes returned to show their talent and came a little closer to their goal of closing the campaign among the 28 best couples in the Ranking World Pádel Tour.

Right after that came the big surprise of the day ... Marcello Jardim and Juan Lebrón completed a spectacular match, thanks to which they defeated Miguel Lamperti-Tito Allemandi for 7-5, 1-6 and 6-4. With morale in the clouds, with the certainty of having taken a big step forward, they already know that their next rivals in the fight to reach semis will be Paquito Navarro-Matías Díaz, who overcame with authority the combative Fede Quiles-Jordi Muñoz (7-6 and 6-3).

Others who also had to wear the overalls to get to the quarters were Cristian Gutiérrez-Agustín Gómez Silingo, who did not have anything simple against Gerard Company-Rubén Rivera (7-6 and 6-3). In the next phase Juani Mieres-Sanyo Gutiérrez will be measured, after going up an 0-3 in both rounds, were imposed on Godo Díaz-Matías Nicoletti by 7-5 and 6-3.

In their fight to recover the eighth position, Gaby Reca and Seba Nerone took a step forward and eliminated the always combative Uri Botello-Javier Concepcion (6-3 and 6-4). The 'Mythical' do not give up anything and try to be the first to defeat this campaign to Fernando Belasteguín-Pablo Lima who, in Monte Carlo, debuted with a comfortable win by a double 6-2 against Diego Ramos-Adrián Blanco.

In order to finish, Juan Martín Díaz-Maxi Sánchez did not give options to the surprise and they left in the way to Fernando Poggi-Jaime Bergareche (6-1 and 6-2).

On Friday, 11 in September and from the 11: 00 hours, will begin an exciting quarter-final match that can be followed LIVE, thanks to the Streaming signal from the World Pádel Tour.

The show does not stop at Monte Carlo and we can only say ... Enjoy the Game !!!
