The brilliant couple faced off Iván Ramírez and Gonzalo Rubio, another of the favorite couples to win the last tournament of the season WPT Challenger.
Before the game started, doubts were sown as to whether Coki and Javi could achieve it, due to the mistakes made in the previous confrontation with Miguel Semmler and Sergio Alba, however, in the first set, the couple would already show us their more solid side, leaving their rivals without options with a 6-4.
The second set started with another advantage of the StarVie team and in the middle of it, there was a great scare, in which Gonzalo Rubio he suffered a very spectacular fall, off-piste, which caused him damage and made him hobble back onto the pitch.
Because of that, Coki and Javi took advantage of the situation and in the eighth game would close the set that gave Nieto the second title and the first to Barahona.
