Padel World Press .- The first men's semifinal of the Las Rozas Open measured the forces of Fernando Belasteguín - Sanyo Gutiérrez with those of Maxi Sánchez - Lucho Capra ... And it was a real game !!
In Valladolid, the duel between the two pairs fell on the side of Maxi and Lucho, this time the balance ended up tilting on the other side ... But it was not easy since the Mercedino and the Chimeño struck first and, with a firm step, they advanced on the scoreboard (4-6).
In the second set, Bela and Sanyo showed their talent and experience. Without accusing the pressure of having received a break in the opening bars, they reached a sudden death in which they did not fail and confirmed why they are the number 2 in the world (4-6 and 7-6).
With everything to be decided, a third round was reached in which equality was maximum until, in the seventh game, Fernando Belasteguín - Sanyo Gutiérrez broke the serve of their opponents and, with cold blood, raised three break balls to achieve the victory by 4-6, 7-6 and 6-4… And to ensure the presence in his fourth final of the season !!
A very happy birthday
Authentic train crash to decide the second semifinl of Las Rozas Open. In it, the 1 in the world and the third in the ranking were measured: Juan Lebrón and Ale Galán against Pablo Lima - Agustín Tapia.
Based on their usual game, it was Lima and Tapia who made the first blow and took a 3-1 income on the scoreboard. Supported by a tremendous punch, the 'hopefuls' managed to maintain that advantage despite the attempts of their rivals and, thanks to this, they took the lead (6-4 in 36 minutes).
Without slowing down, and confirming the very good feelings shown in the first set, the Brazilian and the Argentine started the second set with a break in their favor. Launched, and with an unstoppable version of their game, they also managed to keep that income against some Galán - Lebrón who could not find a way to prevent the defeat by a double 6-4.
Melted in a hug, Tapia celebrated his birthday in style ... And it is not every day that you get a qualification for the final, leaving the world's number 1 on the road.
