Padel World Press .- The good news continues to arrive for the world of paddle tennis that, little by little, remains firm in its unstoppable growth in all corners of the world ... On this occasion, we focus our eyes on the European, a competition for which the IFJ has confirmed the presence of up to 18 participating nations.

Given the high number of registered countries, for the first time in the history of this event, a Preliminary Phase will have to be organized to know the name of the 16 teams classified to fight for the conquest of this prestigious title.

As it has been known, The 12 best classified will go directly to the Final Phase and the remaining 6, divided into two groups, will compete for the 4 places in the running.

The registered countries have been, in alphabetical order: Germany, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, Finland, France, Great Britain, Holland, Italy, Lithuania, Monaco, Norway, Poland, Russia, San Marino, Sweden, Switzerland.

On the other hand, it should be remembered that Marbella, the city that saw the birth of paddle tennis in Europe, will once again make history in our sport with the European event with the highest participation by teams ... As noted by the FIP: “The total number of flags represented it will be even bigger with the registration in the Open for Couples of players who will defend countries that are still developing and which we will see very soon compete with complete teams ”.

The XIIth Edition of the European Championship will be played from June 28 to July 4 at the Marbella Fairgrounds.
