The second installment of the Journal arrives with which Fran Garrido, José María Bruno, Carlos Aranda, Enrique Moreno, Javier Ureña and Ángel Rodríguez have wanted to share with the fans of this sport how it happened at the 1st High Performance Campus of M3.

Padel World Press .- After their first contacts, after meeting their teachers and feeling the need of their training program, the students of the first promotion of this great project continued to make the most of every second in an experience in which they took a step forward in their way to understand and conceive the paddle.

"3 Day

We started with the same routine as in the previous days: we had a strong breakfast and a course for the club. There, Mariano put us to the test and made us train in several stations, which were very difficult because they demanded a lot. Some were a little easier than others because they only consisted of passing balls with your partner.

Then, again visit the corner of Alvaro Rosa, who subjected us to some complicated exercises to improve speed on the track. There was a series of cones with balls in which we tried to put them all together in the same place in the shortest possible time.

After a break, in which we took juices and some sandwiches, Álvaro Rosa himself gave us a talk on nutrition and the importance of a balanced diet. Thanks to him we discovered the 'invisible training', which seems not to but it is very noticeable when you do it.

In the afternoon, after lunch and rest, Jaime gave us a control test… Although he didn't 'push' a lot, he did demand that we pass the ball with all the ease and naturalness in the world.

Running for the shower and is that, as a surprise for this day, the 20: 00 had to be ready to go to eat a hamburger and the movies, to see Independence Day II. The movie was very entertaining although, although we will not give names, some also fell asleep in the cinema because of the accumulated fatigue.

Day 4

New breakfast to recharge the batteries and, when arriving at Pádel 2.0, the first thing was to enter the track to take a game. They recorded us all in order to make a video analysis. Next, Jaime submitted us to the penultimate practical exam: composite wall rebounds, balloons and wall drops.

We went back to physical training !! This time it was in the Gymnasium, with 8 stations ... Those who were 'left over' went through the tapes and the bikes. We ended up very tired but since we knew it was time to rest later, we tried our best.

On this day, Uri Botello was in charge of chatting with us and, very close and kind, told us his life both inside and outside the paddle court.

After lunch and rest, it was time to train attack situations that were very complicated and that posed a challenge for all of us. They also put us on track with some players signed by StarVie, who were very good and who forced us to give the best of ourselves.

For dinner, a large barbecue helped put an end to another unforgettable day.

Day 5

It was the day of goodbye, the farewell, in which we wanted to give everything, no matter what it cost, because they saw both our parents and one of our idols: Fernando Poggi. The most experienced people play with him and against him.

The second stop, of course, was the physical training with Álvaro Rosa. In a different way, we work on the Reaction Speed. We had to be aware to go forward if he named our color.

In the company of our parents, we enjoyed the classic juices and sandwiches, before undergoing a theoretical exam that we all surpassed. The questions were about the talks we had received during the previous days, to see if we had heard something. The next step was the last practical test, which consisted of doing all the strokes we had practiced in the best possible way.

To finish, we played some games and some Tie-Breaks and, due to the good friendship that we had forged between everyone during the week, it was difficult for us to say goodbye and we did it almost as if we were no longer going to see each other ... waiting!!

Last conclusions

We can only say that the M3 High Performance Campus is a cool one in every way. If someone has the opportunity to go to its next editions, we would recommend that they not let it pass… And the note that we would give it would be a 10 in all aspects.

And what would we highlight from the lived experience? Well, we were with great professionals, very friendly, who made us see the importance of technical and physical training ... At home they treated us very well and made us feel privileged. We hope to be able to repeat it in future editions ”.
