Padel World Press .- They had the opportunity to enjoy a unique experience. Together with other children, they participated in the first edition of a great project launched by one of the leading companies in the world of paddle tennis.

With much desire to learn, the young protagonists of this story took full advantage of all the teachings transmitted by a great team of teachers, along with those who learned many of the fundamentals of this wonderful sport.

Then we leave you with his particular Diary of a week in which all of them took a step forward in their way of understanding and conceiving the paddle.

"Hello everyone:

To start we would have to point out that we knew most of the participants because we had already trained together, so only Carmen and Alberto, very nice guys, were new to us. Regarding the team of coaches, we found them very professional, each one having a particular sense of humor and a lot of kindness.

Our goal at the CAAR was to have fun and enjoy it to the fullest because it was a unique experience, we did not know if we could perform again.

Day 1

As soon as we arrived, they showed us the Pádel 2.0 facilities, which we found very spacious, of good quality and in keeping with their purpose in a very remarkable way. One of the many things we liked was the organization of the space and its design, modern as well as practical.

When we left the suitcases, we were introduced to two coaches: Mariano and Paco.

We have to say that Mariano's first impression was not very 'positive' because we all thought he was very serious. However, as the days went by, we realized that his sense of humor was different from ours… And that, as a professional, he never ceased to surprise us for the better.

For his part, in the case of Paco, he gave us all the impression that we had known him all our lives ... Accomplice of our jokes although he was very professional on the track.

We begin by separating into two groups according to our level of play. We started to train with a ball control exercise and, after seeing our level, we did a practical examination of the right and backhand strokes as well as control of the ball.

After finishing the exam with Mariano, they introduced us to Álvaro Rosa, our physical trainer, very nice, by the way. He put us to do exercises with the rope, coordination, strength and also volleys with the shovel. We ended up very tired of the physical because it was the first day. In the rest of the sessions of the week we got used to those trainings and we exhausted ourselves much less.

After a short break, in which we were given a juice and a piece of fruit to recover energy, we went to an interesting chat with Jorge Martínez. In it, he told us about how the padel had evolved over the years as well and also explained, for example, who he trained or if the female padel was more united in terms of couples.

After eating we had time to rest and some used it to lie on the sofa, others took a nap while others decided to play paddle tennis before facing the last training of the day ... Which was very radical because first we did volleys from a chair and then we played 2 vs 2 games, some volleying and others back with conditions ... The truth is that we really liked that training, in which we met the last coach we would have: Jaime. He was the youngest of all, so he understood us very well.

At the end of the session we had an hour and a half in the pool, then rest and dinner. The first night the three of us got into a room ... As we didn't know what that house was like, that night we were very hot and could hardly sleep ... The next day, we did something as obvious as opening the window, so we were able to rest much better.

Day 2

A little tired from the beating of the previous day, we started with a very nutritional breakfast to regain strength from the morning, because we knew it was going to be a 'hard' day ... The morning training was similar to that of Day 1, with the Unlike that this time they gave us a practical test on forehand, backhand and layup volleys.

Later came the meeting with Álvaro, who made us work in the gym with the treadmill, the bike, etc… Without forgetting other coordination exercises. We did not win the juices and fruit that came next !!

The talk of that day was with Óscar Lorenzo, Sports Psychologist, who taught us several techniques of concentration and relaxation. Such was the relaxation that he conveyed to us that, despite the interestingness of his presentation, some almost fell asleep.

After the meal, we all decided to rest because we were aware that what was to come would be very hard. We did the same as the day before with the chairs but the stairs were added, which made it difficult to execute them.

Back 'home', we bathed in the pool, rested and ordered some pizzas to watch a movie and go to sleep… What awaited us on a Wednesday that was going to be very hard !! ”.

In the next few days we will offer you the second part of this diary, in which our six protagonists will tell us about the last three days of an experience they will never be able to forget.
