Just a few hours ago the Masters Tournament ended, the great date with which the World Paddle Tour Circuit brought down the curtain of an unforgettable 2015 season. In the Women's category, the winners were Alejandra Salazar-Marta Marrero and, in the case of the first, it should be noted that she was also chosen as 'Best Player' of the final.
Padel World Press .- They have been two of the great names of this campaign. In their first year as a couple, not only have they been consolidated in the 2 position of the WPT Ranking, but they have also won two titles (San Fernando and Valencia) as well as the Masters Finals.
In this important event, after overcoming all their rivals, they stood in the decisive match, in which they had to measure their forces with those of the Mapi Twins and Majo Sánchez Alayeto. With firm step, they imposed their law from the first moment and ended up taking the victory by 6-2 and 6-3.
Day after day, tournament after tournament, these two great players have shown that they have assimilated very quickly the process of adaptation as a pair and, with this, they have confirmed that in 2016 they will go all out in their goal of becoming the great dominators of the Women's Circuit.
On a personal level, in addition to having conquered the Masters Tournament, Alejandra received another joy as she was designated as the 'Best Player' of the Final. Experienced in these struggles, the member of Team #HEADpadelrebel accumulates three triumphs in this prestigious event, in which she already prevailed in its 2009 and 2013 editions.
Just a few months ago, when he renewed his commitment to the firm, Salazar said: «I am satisfied with the results obtained but we continue working every day with the whole team; we are not satisfied and we want more ». And that is what they have achieved: a well-deserved victory with which they strengthen their confidence for next year.
