Padel World Press .- In a recent conversation with Antonio Navarro, Manager of Kelme Pádel, we were able to know that preparations are already under way for the launch of some qualifiers that will define which squad will represent them in a meeting organized by the AECP (Association Européene des Clubs de Padel).

As he explained to us: "We are going to do some qualifiers in each province; that is to say, we will do eliminatory in Valencia, another in Alicante, another in Castellón and another in Murcia. These first phases will be played between the 07 and the 09 of September in a club in each province. The champions of each of them will face each other in Valencia between 21 and 22 in September. From these crosses will come the formation that will represent the Valencian Community and Murcia in the European Cup of Clubs ".

With a very original format: "This test tries to imitate the model of the NBA. In our case, Kelme Paddle has bought for the next 10 years the rights of the Valencian Community and Murcia to participate in the European Cup of Clubs. That's why we propose the Kelme team + name of the winning team to participate in this event. "

Well-defined project, its objective is to give prestige to clubs, their school and its monitors. That is why it is an amateur tournament in which only players who have Male WPT Ranking of more than 151 and Female of more than 76 can participate.

Very excited about this new experience, Antonio Navarro said: "The champion club of each province will have the importance of being the best team in its region. Then, if it manages to win in the final eliminator, it will become the best combination of the Valencian Community and Murcia. Then, if he manages to win in Paris from the 09 to the 11 in November, he will achieve the role of best club in Europe. "

By reviewing the rules of the competition, we will see that the 16 teams participating by country will be divided as follows:

Spain: 4.

France: 4.

Italy: 1.

Switzerland: 1.

Holland: 1.

Belgium: 1.

Poland: 1.

Portugal: 1.

Germany: 1.

Sweden: 1.

The format of the European Cup of Clubs is simple: It will face a team of boys against another team of boys and a team of girls against another team of girls. The duels will be direct eliminatory and the winners will pass the round. If there is a tie, for example, the boys win and the girls lose, the difference of sets will be looked at and, in case of a new tie, the difference of games will be taken into account.

To finish, Antonio Navarro revealed: "The costs of travel and per diems are paid by the organization and Kelme Pádel."

This year, the Final Phase of the European Cup of Clubs will be played in Paris from 08 to 11 in November and, in 2019, will take place in another European city.
