Padel World Press - CMD Sports has interviewed Jorge Gonzalez and Marcos Barbero, creators of Keepadel to comment on your project within the retail Spanish padel. Forecasts, figures, investment and much more!

Keepadel has entered the padel market following an unusual strategy: began organizing tournaments in the Community of Madrid, then launched its online store in June 2023 and, finally, opened a physical store in April 2024 in Madrid. The founders, Jorge González and Marcos Barbero, previously worked at Time2padel, a company bought by Padel Nuestro, and after this departure, they decided to continue in the padel sector by creating their own company.

Currently, Keepadel generates 70% of its income through the sale of padel equipment and 30% through the tournament organization, which attracts about 350 couples a month. The online store, which accounts for 70% of sales of material, also makes international shipments, mainly to Italy and Sweden, and is available in six languages. The physical store, located in the Pilar district of Madrid, complements online sales and contributes to the trust of local customers.

As for its financial goals, Keepadel expects to close 2024 with a turnover of 500,000 euros and increase by 20% by 2025. Its product strategy focuses on a wide range of products, from competitively priced clearance sales to high-end collections. The best-selling brands include Nox, Sioux, Adidas, Babolat and Víbora, but Keepadel also includes other popular 100% padel brands such as Starvie, Royal Padel, Akkeron and Power Padel.
