Padel World Press - The female paddle lives one of its best stages. There are several couples, today, willing to dream of achieving a degree World Padel Tour and one of the most prominent in recent times, on its own merits, is the one formed by Ana Catarina Nogueira and Paula Josemaría.

And is that the couple eight of the women's ranking was going to turn upside down this Saturday at the Madrid Arena achieving an epic victory against number two composed of Alejandra Salazar and Ari Sánchez. But it would not be easy.

Because Ale and Ari jumped on the track with the lesson learned from previous duels, and in the same round, and decided to impose their rhythm to have a semi-final clash as placid as possible.

So it would be in the first round where Josemaría and Nogueira were handcuffed thanks to a lively, direct game that made a dent in their rivals until they fell for 6-1.

It would be right there, with all lost, when Josemaría and Nogueira would react. And in what way. They entered the game, little by little they were catching feeling with the ball and began to cause errors in the double number two.

It would be the tie-break that would decide that the first semifinal match would go to the third and final and, there, the best of the match would come.

Everything was about to be decided and the four players raised their level. The paddle that was reflected on the twenty by ten was a lot, many carats, and therefore would go to a definitive and exciting tie-break.

A sudden death where everything could happen, but where Paula Josemaría decided. The young Argentine was erected, as in the entire third set, in the protagonist of the meeting with an immeasurable personality and chose the party that would end up closing in favor of the pair eight for 6-1, 6-7, and 6-7.

Llaguno and Amatriaín overthrow the numbers one

If the news had jumped in the Madrid Master in the morning, the afternoon still had many surprises saved and, to a large extent, it would be thanks to the performance of some revolutionary Patty Llaguno and Eli Amatriaín.

Because the second women's semifinal of the Madrid Master I was going to face couples one and five of the World Padel Tour and favoritism was very marked in the figures of Marta Marrero and Marta Ortega.

The leaders of the ranking would exercise without pressure their role in the first set and literally dominate some rivals who looked out of rhythm and erred more than usual in their quiet and firm game.

The first set would fall on the side of Marrero and Ortega, but the trend of the latter, where Llaguno and Amatriáin threatened the comeback, would mark the future of the two remaining sleeves.

Because, when the whole game seemed clearly dominated by the numbers one, it would jump through the air. Llaguno and Amatriaín, who were punished from the quarterfinals, resurfaced when they seemed farther from victory to forge a pass to the final that is already part of the history of the World Padel Tour.

They matched the match with a perfect second set and, in the third round, they extended their advantage to, later, endure the outburst of caste by Marrero and Ortega who were about to match the contest.

With a final marker of 6-3, 3-6 and 4-6 the number five couple of the World Padel Tour achieved their first pass to a final this course and gave the surprise in the afternoon shift.
