She is one of the young promises of the world padel. Together with his good friend Momo González, the member of Adidas Team will face what will be his first full campaign in the World Paddle Tour Tour and, as a great goal, they have set the challenge of trying to qualify for a Main Draw. In Valencia they were one step away from achieving it.

Padel World Press .- Do not miss this article, published in the Adidas Paddle Blog, in which the player from Malaga shared with the fans how his experiences were at the Estrella Damm Valencia Master, a test in which they saw very close the possibility of qualifying among the 32 best pairs.

Despite the defeat, that good result will mean an important moral reinforcement that will encourage them to continue working in search of a dream.

"Good to everyone and everyone!

After returning from Valencia, I am encouraged to share with you my feelings of what we have experienced during these last days. Last Friday we arrived in the capital of Turia to play the previews of the second round of the WPT Circuit, after the Gijón tournament. We landed with great enthusiasm since in Asturian lands we did not do badly. There we won the first two Pre-Preview matches and we stayed at the gates of the Preview after falling in a very tight duel against Teo Zapata-Jorge Señorán.

This is a very exciting year and at the same time complicated for us because it is the first year that we (Momo González, my partner and I) have played the Absolute Circuit exclusively. After spending all these years competing in the Minors Circuit, in which we achieved quite a few good results, we face this new challenge being aware of the enormous difficulty that this change entails ...

Now we face players with more experience, enormous level and many encounters in a short space of time if you advance rounds. But even so, this extra pressure for us we carry with an excessive illusion because we know it is a great opportunity to continue learning day by day and gain more experience.

This aspect at the moment we are doing well. Last year we already played some of the tests and that is why we already knew who we were facing. At the Alfafar Sports Complex in Valencia, where the Previas games were played, we arrived calm, aware that all we had to do was play as we have been doing so far and give our best on the court.

We won the first two matches despite starting losing in both. That gave us a lot of confidence for the next matches. In the Pre-Preview Final we were victorious 6-2, with which we entered the Preview Table. From that moment, it was time to go step by step. There were only two more matches left to touch a dream with your hands. In the first of them we won 6-4 and 6-2, so we managed to reach our first Preview Final ... The joy was maximum.

At the beginning of the year, the main objective was to make our first Frame. We knew how much you have to sweat to get there but there we were… We only had one game left for it. Against some rivals of a very high level, how was the couple formed by Aris Patiniotis and Toni Bueno, we were not able to play in the same way that we had been doing in previous meetings. I don't know if it was the pressure, the fatigue, the enthusiasm for having gotten there ... But it couldn't be. They were superior.

Taking stock, these days in Valencia have been super positive. They have helped us to add more experience. We are happy to advance more and more rounds in the World Paddle Tour Professional Circuit and continue to improve the level.

Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the support we receive during all the tournaments. Always seeing how many of you are aware of what we do is very comforting and helps us to continue fighting for our goals.

A greeting.

José Carlos Gaspar ».
