Padel World Press .- To begin this article, I have to tell you that there have been quite a few changes since the last time I wrote you. The tournaments that I mentioned in the previous post were played in a very irregular way and that, although we achieved a great result by reaching the quarterfinals of the Challenger Marseille, in the rest we did not manage to pass at least one round.

The truth is that we suffered a very great frustration, which led us to Momo González and me to make the decision not to continue playing together the rest of the year. He told me about it but it seemed to me that he was right and that it was something that would be good for both of us.

From there, I've started to compete next to Jorge Ruiz with whom, truthfully, I can only say that I feel very comfortable and we are playing fairly well. We are one step away from achieving classification for the Buenos Aires Padel Master, when losing in our final of the Spanish Preview. In Granada, we fell in the Previous Ernesto Moreno-Chico Gomes.

As for Momo, note that he managed to qualify for the Round of 16 round Granada Open. In part it is a bit angry to see that you are not there but, on the other hand, you are also very happy for him. We have a very good relationship and we have not had any kind of problem ... In addition, it can even serve as motivation to see if you are capable of getting there.

In fact, I also participated in the International Sub'20 of the Children's World Championship held in Malaga with Momo. We won by beating Coki Nieto-Javier González Barahona in the final by 6-3 in the third. It was very special because it was held at El Candado, my usual club, and because my parents were part of the organizing team together with Foncho Caballero and David del Nido.

First of all, I want to congratulate all of them because they have worked a lot for the appointment to go ahead and I think they have achieved it with flying colors.

On the sporting level, I can only say that it was an impressive World Cup, with Spain increasingly dominating in all categories and a U18 Open final of those that happen every long time ... Two former couples played against and the match It couldn't be more fierce. It reminded me of the one that played two years ago in Mexico but this one I don't know why, when I experienced it from outside and with the closeness I had especially with Javi and Jose, I lived it with great intensity. On the decisive stretch of the clash my hair stood on end although, on the other hand, the duel deserved it ... How could it be otherwise, congratulate Chipi and Javi García, who played a great final.

Finally, tell me how my last two weeks were for you to get an idea of the pace we have in this season finale:

October

Days 3-4-5: WPT Previews Buenos Aires (Madrid).

Days 6-7-8: Championship of Spain of Autonomic Selections (Barcelona).

Days 9-10: WPT Granada.

Days 12-13-14: International Sub'20 of Malaga.

Days 14-15: Closed Eagle Tournament.

During these two weeks, of course, I have not been able to attend the University, which makes it very difficult to keep up with the class ... But we will have to try to ask for notes to be able to catch up and all this without stopping training for the WPT in Zaragoza , which will begin on Sunday, October 22.

But the truth is that I can not complain. It is the lifestyle that I have decided and I am happy with it, with the desire to continue training and to continue improving.

A greeting!

José Carlos Gaspar
