Brand consolidated in the market thanks, among other things, to Tito Allemandi and Marta Marrero, we would like to know how were the origins of this brand and what is its philosophy.

PADEL POSITIVE SL, owner of the Black Crown brand, was born in March 2010 at a time of great expansion of the paddle in Spain. Its main objectives are:

  • To provide the market with a specialized product of high performance and quality at competitive prices.
  • Having an important presence in the professional padel so that this experience then serves to offer the best products to the amateur player.
  • Be very agile and professional in decision making and service.


Where did the name come from?

Better not to touch this point because it was invented by the previous owner of Black Crown and the reason is a bit absurd.

The Black Crown team has been greatly strengthened with the arrival of Uri Botello in their ranks. When and how was the opportunity to sign this promising player?

We are very happy about the fact that a young player, with great projection as Uri Botello, has trusted Black Crown for the next two years. With its incorporation, we reinforce our team of professional players that is becoming more and more noticeable and important. At the moment we have Adrián Allemandi, Marta Marrero, Enric Sanmarti, Peli Espejo, Ana Fernández and Sandra Hernández.

How were the conversations with both M3 and Uri to close this contract?

Conversations with M3 were very quick and easy. They were looking for a brand that saw Uri Botello as an important player both within the WPT Circuit and within the firm itself. We were looking for a player of its characteristics and that had its headquarters in the Community of Madrid.

What do you hope to bring to Uri and what do you think he will bring to you?

From Black Crown we hope to provide Uri stability, tranquility and a very close and personal treatment so that he can continue training and competing at the highest level. Uri will help us to achieve greater recognition of the Black Crown brand worldwide and with it, throughout the year 2015, we will do different activities in the Community of Madrid with the aim of opening market in this area.

With what model of shovel will Uri play? What are the characteristics of said blade?

Uri will start playing with our Flap model. It is a shovel that uses soft EVA rubber, has the frame of carbon fiber with double tubular and covers the faces of fiberglass braided and reinforced. Our Flap model is sold through sports stores and specialized stores at the recommended RRP price of 180 euros.

Consolidated brand in Catalonia, will you take advantage of the good image of Uri in Madrid to extend your networks and grow in the capital of the world padel?

Our origins were in Catalonia, where year after year we have managed to have a notable presence. Little by little we have also managed to be present in the Balearic Islands, Valencia, Murcia, Andalusia, Aragon and, for this next year, our main objective will be the Community of Madrid.

What are your expansion plans? What challenges and projects do you have for 2015?

Looking ahead to 2015, our main objectives will be to consolidate our sales in the areas in which we are already present, to get into the Community of Madrid and to continue growing internationally in countries such as France, Belgium, Portugal, etc ...

After your first experience with M3, do you plan to continue working with them?

The experience we have had with M3 has been very positive. I am sure that in the future there will be new projects that may be of mutual interest.

Do you plan to study more hiring options?

For now, for this 2015, we do not have any new additions to the team. However, I must tell you that we are always open to studying any new project.

What surprise, what novelty can we expect fans to face the 2015 collection?

We are working to present new collections of shovels, pallet bags and textiles throughout the year. We hope that they will please everyone and help us achieve our goals.
