On the morning of 11 in November, the Real Betis squad had a very special training session. The grass of the Sports City was replaced by the artificial turf of the paddle tennis courts, in which the great player from Puerto de Santa María showed that, in the end, he will have skills for racket sports.

Padel World Press .- A few years ago, Joaquín starred in funny video, in which he assured that one of his hobbies was tennis when, in reality, he had never held a racquet. It was only a matter of time before that day ended and, well, we finally saw him on the track, with a paddle paddle in his hands.

Due to the league break due to the commitments of the national teams, the Betis coaching staff decided to organize a different session, a very special training, in which they would use a sport as social as the paddle to strengthen the feeling of 'team'.

With the smile drawn on his face, knowing that it would be one of the main centers of attention, Joaquin entered the facilities of the Bernier Club asking to be given a racket: "Because my thing is tennis."

However, the midfielder did not take long to check that he moved with more ease than he expected inside the track and with José María Montiel, one of the 'emblems' of the costume for more than 20 years, they won in a first match not exempt from 'polemic' to the duo formed by Molinero-Cejudo.

Although there were still several eliminatory to play, and as they told us the companions of ABC Sevilla, Joaquín decided unilaterally that he had already shown that he was the winner of the tournament and took the trophy ...

Once again, genius and figure both inside and outside the playing fields !!
