The third installment of the newspaper comes with which the Belgian player summarizes how his adventure is in our country. The member of Black Crown Team He has moved to Madrid to train with the best and to continue growing as a player. What will you tell us on this occasion?

Padel World Press .- Immersed in my training plan, I must say that things are going very well. Week after week, I usually work almost 4 hours a day between paddle tennis and physical ... Although everything is going even better than I expected, I decided to take a short break because in the last month I had barely had 4 days without touching a shovel.

The truth is that I am feeling that I am improving in all facets ... I feel very comfortable when defending but I have to find a balance between attack and defense. I have realized that I have 'difficulties' when it comes to finding the rhythm of the matches and managing the important moments of the matches well ... But I know that this will improve with practice, and more so now, that I play a lot.

In May I had a lot of trips and that's why I didn't compete in Spain. I went through Tunisia to participate in an Exhibition Tournament that served to inaugurate the first 3 paddle tennis courts that have been set up in that country. Then I went to Belgium to see my girlfriend, my family and my friends. While there, I competed in the Tibeflex Open FIP 250 and then headed to Rome, where I took part in the FIP 500 ... Although they have been very intense days, the truth is that I have been able to live a true dream thanks to the support of Padel International Trading and of Black Crown.

Back in Spain, I played in the Estrella Damm Barcelona Challenger with Jorge de Benito. We lost in the first round of the Pre-Preview against Álvaro García-Mario Cerezo.

With regard to the III Tibeflex Open, I would have to point out that I got a little disappointment because, at the last moment, my partner told me that I could not come, so I had to find a new partner to play it. We did not know each other, we had never shared the track and we lost in the third set of our first-round match against a very good Dutch duo.

I must say that I am very proud of my teammate, Juan Valdivia, who gave him everything even though he was not used to acting on the forehand since he is a backhand player. Although it was very difficult for him to adapt to his 'new position', we were one step away from achieving victory ... In the Consolation Draw, we won all the crashes with ease and we ended up playing very comfortable ... It was a shame not to have been able to overcome that commitment of first round.

At the level of the organization, I cannot ignore that it was a spectacular tournament. The Padel4U2 team received us like kings and among the participants there was a great leveling. I am very proud to see that Belgium can organize such an event and that it is present on the international scene.

In Madrid, during my sessions, in addition to having the opportunity to train with Pablo Lijó and with other guys who have an incredible level, I also had the great luck of playing several training matches with Alejandra Salazar thanks to Juan Antonio Pérez and Led Projects. I must say that Alejandra is a great player, from whom there is much to learn but, above all, she is a very humble person with whom you can talk calmly forgetting that she is number 1 in the world ... However, when she enters the field, it does not take long to understand why he occupies that position in the Ranking

If I had to talk about my short-term goals, I would like to break the barrier of winning those important duels against good players, of whom I am very close in level but who surpass me in 'head', in mentality ... For example, I lost in the FIP 500 in Rome 6-4 in the third set against Guga Vázquez. It is a positive result but now we have to take that step and be able to beat them.

I would love to win my first game in Pre-Previa and get to play in 1ª Category of the Madrilenian Federation.

Greetings to all.
