He has lived one of those experiences that he will remember all his life. Regardless of the sporting results, everything that happened in Dubai will remain forever in the memory of the player from Madrid who, through the Adidas Blog, wanted to share with fans how was his 'Asian Adventure'.

Padel World Press .- Do not miss this great testimony, in which one of the most promising players on the international scene told all the details of their experiences during the Exhibition Tournament that took place at the NAS Sports Complex.

"Hello, everyone.

I would like to briefly convey to you my experience lived a week ago in Dubai, one of the seven emirates that make up the UAE, the United Arab Emirates. It was a fantastic week, whose feelings were super positive.

My partner Uri and I, along with seven other couples from the World Padel Tour, were going as guests of an exhibition tournament organized by Prince Hamdan at his sports complex NAS SPORTS and which has a tremendous impact in the country ... Padel, but there are also competitions for indoor football, basketball, volleyball, cycling and many more sports.

As the tournament was held during the Ramadan season, we played the games at night, so during the day we could take advantage of it to do a little tourism knowing the wonders of the country and, in the afternoon, to rest and prepare well for the evening parties.

The impressive facilities and luxurious hotel where we were staying were certainly to be expected. When leaving, it was disturbing to know how the people of the Arab country were going to respond to a very well-known sport with a high level of practitioners in Spain and that, in recent years, is beginning to be heard and seen in many other countries ... there is still much difference in terms of follow-up. But I was pleasantly surprised to see and learn of the exponential growth that paddle tennis is having in Dubai, not only because of the considerable number of courts they are starting to have but also because of the teaching they are giving in their sports complexes, especially with children. , a fundamental pillar for the rise and growth of paddle tennis abroad.

I was also very surprised by the courts on which Prince Hamdan played. Their tracks were absolutely glass, they had no side or top bars, a whole glass track at Hamdan's request. It was funny and at the same time fun to play on those courts, but it could be said that it is another sport due to the changing conditions of the game.

Not everything was paddle tennis on the trip. We were able to visit the impressive city of Dubai. Among the most characteristic we saw one of the tallest buildings in the world, the Burj Khalifa, a spectacular skyscraper of more than 800 meters high that is impressive just to see it. We were in an immense Shopping Center, which took us hours to go all over it, the Dubai Mall. In it we were able to get some memories of the trip as souvenirs. Also, on the day off we had, we took the opportunity to go to an impressive water park, Atlantis Park, where we all enjoyed ourselves as children and where it was seen who were the most scared of the group. I've thought about citing them but I think I'll save it, I don't want them to take it into account on the court the next time I play against them, hahaha. And finally, we were able to contemplate the impressive offices of the NAS SPORTS, with a wind tunnel included, where we could feel the sensation of flying, something that we had not done before and that we all loved.

Without a doubt, it was a great and unforgettable week, a first contact with Dubai where in a few months we will go again to play one of the World Padel Tour Masters… I can't wait to go back !! At the moment we have to continue training to the fullest that next week we will have the Palma de Mallorca Open.

A hug!!

Javier Concepción. "
