It is one of the great promises of the Men's National Team that will defend Spain in the Xth World Championship, which will be played from the 16 to the 21 in November at the tracks of the Club Libanés of Mexico City. The companions of the Spanish Federation They help us to know him a little more closely.

Padel World Press .- He has been four times Champion of Spain in different Categories of Minors. In 2014 he won everything. In 2015, he was on the same path but he resisted in Master Final, which was played recently in La Nucia.

As highlighted from the FEP, talking about Javi Garrido is talking about a perfection that transforms into humility and shyness over short distances. With great enthusiasm, and like most of his teammates in the Selection of Minors, in Mexico he will live his first World Cup representing our country: «Being my first time, I was very excited to come, because I trained very hard this year, and for any athlete, representing your country is the biggest thing that can happen to you ».

With an impressive record at his age, this young Cordovan is an example of professionalism, which shows with the desire and intensity with which he trains daily: «Every time I win, I try to train in the same way I do every day and , in turn, continue with the same illusion of winning. In addition, we must bear in mind that everything I have achieved has cost me a lot because the rivals are great. I have won many matches for small details ».

An example of the equality existing in the Categories of Minors is found in the aforementioned Master of La Nucía in which, despite starting with his partner as an 1 number of the Ranking, they could not pass the group stage. «Whenever I have had defeats I have taken them as an opportunity to climb more».

On his adaptation to the national team, it should be noted that it will be easier because he will be accompanied by his good friend Javier García. «The truth is that we are going to have a great time. In the National Team I have colleagues from the Andalusian National Team and, in general, the atmosphere is excellent, something very important to achieve the goal ».

To strengthen the feeling of belonging to a team, just a few days ago they held a rally in the City of Racket, where all internationals could enjoy two days full of paddle tennis. «The truth is that it went very well. We were all new except Pablo and we didn't know how he was going. They were two magnificent days, in which we also trained very well ».

Finally, he could not help talking with his colleagues from the Spanish Federation about another of his great passions: football, with Atlético de Madrid as the basic pillar. «I am 'cholista' in my philosophy ... Go game by game and never give up any lost match. I started with paddle tennis but I have also played football, handball or tennis, I give it a bit to everything ». On his strongest and weakest points, he would stand out for his mentality on the track, always winning and competitive, and as a point to improve, his sometimes excessive impatience to close the points.

One step closer to #MundialMenores2015... A date that we will be very aware of and in which the young promises of the national padel will make us vibrate with their magic and their talent.
