Padel World Press .- Japan is one of the strongest countries that is betting on establishing padel as a relevant sport, expanding its borders to different areas with the aim of having more and more practitioners.
After its founding in 2016, the Japan Padel Association It did not take long to get going to organize this whole process and establish training and professionalization projects for this sport, pursuing goals such as the creation of a National Circuit in all the clubs of the country or the celebration of an International Tournament. In just one year, the JPA and its president, koji nakatsuka, they managed to get them and, to date, there is a total of up to 140 registered that dispute the National Circuit and that now they will have the opportunity to participate in the first FIP100: the Iº Japan Padel Open.
As Koji Nakatsuka himself told us during the Estrella Damm Masters Finals, the National Circuit facilitated a rapid growth at a competitive level and that motivated the padel to have not stopped winning in popularity. Now, with the dispute of first international tournament organized by the IFJ it will be possible to reach a new level, as it is the first appointment in Japanese lands that will be part of the Official Calendar of the International Federation.
The competition will take place on two consecutive weekends. It will start on Saturday, March 03 day, with the Women's Category and continue the 10 and 11 of the same month with the Men's Table.
This time, the FIP100 Iº Japan Padel Open will function as Masters of the National Circuit, since it will have the best 32 players and 28 players of the JPA Ranking. In this way, the event was defined as a true celebration for all the fans of the paddle in Japan since they will be able to see in action the best players in the country, who will play a very important title.
Some of the most prominent pairs will be Sakaya-Mizuki, Miki-Ayano, Kozue-Haruna and Kuniko-Risa among the girls and Eichiro-Tomoaki, Yutaka-Kazuki, Asier-Daisuke and Yuhei-Hiroki among the boys.
Undoubtedly, the celebration of this Iº Japan Padel Open is a giant step for the Japanese padel, which had already started generate interest from media and sponsors with the National Circuit, as confirmed by its retransmission through the internet on the popular TBS network and with sponsors of the Mitsubishi level.
Very soon we will know who are the first winners of this historic first tournament organized officially by the International Federation in the Nation of the Rising Sun.
